Halloween is Coming.

Today I made and shot Candy Ice Cream Sandwiches. It was a bit more challenging than I thought. Initially I thought I would just make them. Put a pitcher of red juice with dry ice, spread some candy around and shoot. Did you know that when you put dry ice in liquid it boils and throws liquid all over. Lets just say I made a mess. Then there was trying to control the flow of smoke to envelope the plate. I had a good time, and leaned a lot. I think it came out ok.

Fishing Pole to a Wedding?

Cameras Check, Lenses Check, Batteries Check, Fishing Pole... What. Today I got to shoot at a local country club. I loved it all sorts of opportunities even with the sun at High Noon. My groom is a fisherman, and to be able to show that was awesome. I had a great time Hot weather and all. These are just the few I ran through that stood out to me.

Braised Sausage

Got a whole new batch of recipes to cook and shoot. I started with the Braised Italian sausage over polenta. It was really good.

Discover Love

I got the to meet my new couple Danae and Cole. Tonight in Discovery Bay to do their Engagement Session. They are Awesome. They said they were shy but I don't believe it. I cannot wait until their wedding in June.

Last Minute Location

We had planned to take the pictures at their friends house but things did not work out. So when I pulled up they asked if I had another location we could use. I thought for a second and had them follow me. We ended up near some corn fields that gave great color to the photos.

Senior Shoot

This was my most recent senior shoot. A referral got me this great senior she was a blast to work with someone that is truly happy. I think it was harder to get her to stop smiling.

Running for the School board.

I got to shoot this family mom is running for the School board and wanted some family shots. We had a good time promises of Ice cream if we behaved, wait that was the kids. I ended up with no Ice cream but I did manage to get some good shots.
