So I have been fighting with these rustic tarts all day long. The first two I made I did not like the way I left the top so open. So I made two more. Using a little food trick I basted the top of the crust with butter milk to give them a shine. Well with strobe photography it was a little too much so after moving the tarts and lights around for about three hours this is what I got.
I took my camera to my Auntie Jennifer's wedding. She was marring her high school sweet heart and prom date 47 years later. At first I was asked not to. As everyone was to enjoy them selves. So I left my camera in the hotel, got to the wedding and got grief from the rest of my family. So I was sent back to retrieve it. I subdued myself, as there was a friend from her work who volunteered to shoot the wedding before I could. I let him take his shots and then I stole my Aunt and soon to be Uncle for my shots. I did what I could as I was catching up with people that were at my recent wedding and did not get to speak with them. The rest of the photos are on my website.
I got the pleasure of meeting John and Christina. They are a great couple the first thing you notice when you are in their presence is the love between them. The looks they give each other even the scalding looks are looks of love. John restores Classic cars for a living, so he brought a current project to the shoot. I had a great time and can't wait for their wedding.
A photograph should be a translation of light, that creates emotion.
